This session will summarise the findings of a large scale in-depth study of changing UK employer practices in graduate recruitment, published last winter. This IES research for BIS * was unusual in covering small employers as well as large ones. The session will highlight key action areas for employers including how to think about demand for graduates in uncertain economic circumstances; dealing with too many or too few applicants; building links with selected institutions; work experience as part of your recruitment strategy.
